History

Bredon Football Club was formed in 1895.




After playing friendly matches, joined the Cheltenham League in 1913.




After just on season the first world war broke out and the club was disbanded.




It reformed again in 1919, again joining the Cheltenham League. The club played in the league until the second world war in 1939, again disbanding.




The club started playing again in the Cheltenham league in 1946.




After playing through the 40’s and 50’s, also playing in the North Cotswold League and Worcester League through the 1960’s and 1970’s.




Up to the present day the clb still plays in the Cheltenham League, Gloucestershire Northern Senior League and Evesham Sunday League.




We also have a thriving junior section which plays in the Ambassador League Evesham.
